Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join our CYPIT team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and experience in working with children and their families in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Take responsibility for a dedicated caseload and clinical role, working with children and young people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
  • Carry out clinical assessments and develop individualised management plans, with support from senior therapists as needed.
  • Contribute to and deliver training to schools, early years settings, parents, and staff, as part of therapy support and delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with education, local authority, medical, and nursing staff to ensure delivery of a coordinated integrated service.

Requirements
  • Be a qualified Speech & Language Therapist.
  • HCPC registration.
  • An enthusiasm for working with early years and school-aged children and young people.
  • Full UK driving license with access to vehicle.
