About the Role
Pontoon is seeking a highly skilled Comms Advisor to join our team on an interim basis. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering outcome-focused communications plans that support the strategic priorities of our programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality communication and engagement materials for use across a range of local channels, including visually engaging PowerPoint decks and written communications for SharePoint and newsletters.
- Understand audience segmentation and apply the principles to our audience groups with a particular focus on field colleagues.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and engagement.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize communications objectives and develop strategies to achieve them.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communications plans and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in internal communications, with a strong track record of developing and delivering effective communications plans.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style to suit different audiences.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- Digital literacy, with experience of using and developing systems like SharePoint and Content Management Systems.
