Cygnet is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and risk assessments to identify areas of need and develop strategies to address them.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to service users, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with other professionals, including healthcare providers and social services.
  • Ensure that service users receive high-quality care and support, adhering to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss service user needs and develop strategies for improvement.

Requirements

  • Registered Social Worker with Social Work England.
  • Relevant Social Work qualification.
  • Experience working in a mental health setting or a passion for working in this field.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, data protection, confidentiality issues, and equality and diversity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Skilled in report writing with excellent literacy skills and attention to detail.
