About the Role
Cygnet is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and risk assessments to identify areas of need and develop strategies to address them.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to service users, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with other professionals, including healthcare providers and social services.
- Ensure that service users receive high-quality care and support, adhering to relevant laws and regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss service user needs and develop strategies for improvement.
Requirements
- Registered Social Worker with Social Work England.
- Relevant Social Work qualification.
- Experience working in a mental health setting or a passion for working in this field.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, data protection, confidentiality issues, and equality and diversity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Skilled in report writing with excellent literacy skills and attention to detail.
