Job Title: Assistant Head of School

Milk Education is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Head of School to join our team at an independent SEMH school in Boston, Lincolnshire. This is a non-teaching, full-time role that requires a strong leader to support the school's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
  • Support pupils consistently while responding to their individual needs
  • Develop and implement educational policies and programmes that promote the school's mission and values
  • Ensure all safeguarding procedures and policies are adhered to
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and evaluation of teaching staff
  • Monitor student progress and academic performance, implementing strategies to support student achievement
  • Oversee CPD and induction for your team and be expected to lead whole staff and subject meetings
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the wider community
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and educational standards
Requirements:
  • Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and be aspiring to undertake the NPQH
  • Degree Qualified in Education or relevant subject
  • Must have a passion for education, with at least 5 years experience teaching
  • Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
