Job Title: Assistant Head of School

Milk Education is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Head of School to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational vision and direction of our school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Headteacher in promoting a culture of excellence and high expectations
  • Develop and implement educational policies and programmes that align with the school's mission and values
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and evaluation of teaching staff
  • Monitor student progress and academic performance, implementing strategies to support student achievement
  • Lead whole staff and subject meetings, and oversee CPD and induction for your team

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience teaching, preferably in a primary school setting
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
