Job Title: Assistant Head of School

Job Summary:

Milk Education is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Head of School to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational vision and direction of our school.

Responsibilities:

* Promote a culture of inclusion and acceptance among students, staff, and the wider community
* Support pupils consistently while responding to their individual needs
* Develop and implement educational policies and programs that align with the school's mission and values
* Ensure all safeguarding procedures and policies are adhered to
* Oversee the recruitment, training, and evaluation of teaching staff
* Monitor student progress and academic performance, implementing strategies to support student achievement
* Oversee CPD and induction for your team and lead whole-staff and subject meetings
* Foster positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the wider community

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Aspiring to undertake the NPQH
* Degree-qualified in Education or a relevant subject
* Recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
