Catering Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team at the University of York. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service and exceeding strict targets and standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Catering Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Lead a team of catering professionals to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction and meet business objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality, efficiency, and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
- Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and supplies to optimize profitability.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced catering environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- A competitive salary of £25,350.88 per annum, plus benefits.
