Catering Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team at the University of York. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service and meeting strict targets and standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Catering Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our catering outlets.
- Ensure that all food and beverage services meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation.
- Lead a team of catering professionals to achieve excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to maintain efficient operations.
- Collaborate with the Catering Manager to develop and implement new menu ideas and promotions.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a busy catering environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Competitive salary of £25,350.88 per annum (£13.14 per hour).
- 37 hours per week, with a mix of days and evenings.
