We are seeking an experienced Trusts Fundraising Manager to join our passionate and dedicated team at Woking & Sam Beare Hospices. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a vital role in securing vital funds to support our patient-centred care services.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join a leading hospice charity in Northwest Surrey, delivering palliative and end-of-life care to those with advanced life-limiting illnesses. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a successful trusts fundraising strategy, building relationships with key stakeholders, and securing significant funding to support our services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive trusts fundraising strategy to secure significant funding for Woking & Sam Beare Hospices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including trusts, foundations, and corporate partners.
- Research and identify new funding opportunities, including trusts, grants, and corporate partnerships.
- Prepare and submit high-quality funding applications, reports, and correspondence to secure funding.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of trusts fundraising activities, making recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with the fundraising team to develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Three years' experience in trusts and grants fundraising, with a proven track record of success.Experience of setting and managing budgets, phasing, and reforecasting.Ability to ensure best practice, knowledge of fundraising legislation, and compliance.Proven experience of trusts and grants prospect research, establishing and maintaining a strong corporate pipeline.Extensive proven experience of producing high-quality and compelling proposals, reports, and correspondence to inspire generous support and high-value gifts from trusts and grants.Proven experience of meeting deadlines and targets in a results-driven environment.Experience of managing complex and challenging stakeholder relationships and working well within a team.Experience of planning, managing, monitoring, and reporting financial and activity information.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.A high level of IT literacy.A good working knowledge of fundraising best practice and relevant legislation.What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits package, and the opportunity to work for a leading hospice charity making a real difference to the lives of our patients and their families.
