About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trusts Fundraising Manager to join our passionate and dedicated team at Woking & Sam Beare Hospices. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a vital role in securing vital funds to support our patient-centred care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive trusts fundraising strategy to achieve targets and secure significant funding for our hospice services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with trusts, foundations, and corporate partners to establish a robust pipeline of funding opportunities.
  • Research and identify new funding opportunities, and develop compelling proposals and reports to secure grants and donations.
  • Manage and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure effective stewardship of funds.
  • Collaborate with our marketing and communications team to develop and implement effective fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to our donors, trusts, and stakeholders, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
Requirements
  • Three years' experience in trusts and grants fundraising, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent knowledge of fundraising best practice, legislation, and compliance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with trusts, foundations, and corporate partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the role.
  • High level of IT literacy, with experience of using fundraising databases and software.
