Trusts Fundraising Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trusts Fundraising Manager to join our passionate and dedicated team at Woking & Sam Beare Hospices.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a patient-centred charity that delivers palliative and end-of-life care to those with advanced life-limiting illnesses in Northwest Surrey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a successful trusts fundraising strategy to deliver against targets
  • Manage budgets, phasing, and reforecasting to ensure effective financial planning
  • Ensure best practice in fundraising, knowledge of legislation, and compliance
  • Conduct thorough prospect research to establish and maintain a strong corporate pipeline
  • Produce high-quality proposals, reports, and correspondence to inspire generous support and high-value gifts from trusts and grants
  • Meet deadlines and targets in a results-driven environment
  • Manage complex stakeholder relationships and work effectively within a team
  • Plan, manage, monitor, and report financial and activity information
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of IT literacy
  • Good working knowledge of fundraising best practice and relevant legislation
