Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Incident Response Lead to join our Group IT Team as part of our IT transformation project. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively monitoring and strengthening our technical security framework, streamlining incident management through automation, and providing critical input on projects to ensure secure cloud infrastructure and proactive threat hunting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a robust incident response plan to ensure timely and effective response to security incidents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security solutions and ensure seamless incident management
- Design and implement automated workflows to streamline incident response and reduce mean time to detect (MTTD) and mean time to respond (MTTR)
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on security-related projects, ensuring secure cloud infrastructure and proactive threat hunting
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, and recommend improvements to our security posture
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in incident response/SOC roles, with a strong understanding of threat actor techniques and the Microsoft Security suite
- Proven track record of integrating Microsoft products with third-party services, creating automated workflows, and producing high-quality technical documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
