Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Coordinator to oversee and manage the execution of various club construction initiatives across London. Reporting directly to the Property Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our projects are completed efficiently, within budget, and aligned with our design aspirations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Construction Project Coordinator, your duties will include:
- Collaborating closely with all business stakeholders to ensure that new clubs are developed with both operational and design requirements in mind.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with external partners, including Quantity Surveyors, Architects, and other essential consultants to facilitate the successful delivery of club projects.
- Providing design input and working alongside external designers and architects on refurbishment and extension projects, ensuring timely coordination and progress reporting.
- Coordinating pre-start activities, project timelines, and handover processes with operational teams to minimize disruptions and ensure timely project completion.
- Overseeing project progress and facilitating communication between internal and external teams, including managing Requests for Information (RFIs) and ensuring compliance with project timelines.
- Focusing on energy management during the design and implementation phases of new club constructions, as well as refurbishments, where applicable.
- Ensuring a seamless handover process with all stakeholders upon project completion.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in managing a diverse range of capital projects, with experience in luxury or premium environments. You should have expertise in design input, scope preparation, tendering, cost analysis, and a solid understanding of JCT contract administration, building regulations, and planning processes. Experience in liaising with local authorities and statutory bodies is essential. You should also demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage multiple high-profile projects concurrently.
