About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Philips as a Field Service Engineer in Northern Ireland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to our customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical support to customers and colleagues, including troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Carry out field-based and remote technical support activities, including installation, maintenance, and repair of imaging equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, and software system failures using established procedures and information.
  • Determine the most cost-effective repair or solution to minimize customer downtime.
  • Participate in a rotational schedule with the Field Service Engineer team, providing direct remote support to customers.

About the Team

You will be part of a regional team of collaborative Field Service Engineers who work together to deliver first-class service to our customer base. As a member of this team, you will be expected to adhere to the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance in this heavily regulated industry.

Requirements

  • HNC (NVQ Level 3/4) or Degree in Electro-engineering or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Experience in logical problem-solving and working independently is essential.
  • Experience in carrying out corrective and preventative works for imaging systems devices and equipment is desirable.
  • Ability to process knowledge across multi-modality and diverse product ranges.
  • Ability to recognize new technologies and adapt to daily challenges.
  • Deliver high levels of customer service.
  • Competence in IT/Network diagnosis/system connectivity/Remote service is desirable.
  • Currently living in Northern Ireland.
