Job Summary
The post holder will be responsible for assessing and providing specialist employment advice, support, and interventions to individuals experiencing barriers to employment due to physical health, mental health, and social situations. They will manage a caseload of clients, assessing individual barriers and prescribing either multi-disciplinary in-house support or referring and signposting clients to external services.
Main Responsibilities
The post holder will facilitate clients being referred to the service quickly, ensuring they do not remain unsupported while on sick leave, and supporting them to return to work swiftly or follow a destination best suited to their circumstances, enabling individuals to achieve positive service experience outcomes.
Key Requirements
- Education to degree level or equivalent
- Able to build relationships with participants and partners
- Good report writing skills
- Experience of supporting people with health conditions and other barriers into work
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new Black Country-wide initiative team, supporting individuals across the region who are unemployed or employed but require retention support. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to deliver a wide variety of outstanding services based on best practice and continually improving.
