Maths Academic Coach Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Maths Academic Coach to join our team at The Graduate Network. As a Maths Academic Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching staff in planning and delivering engaging GCSE Maths lessons. Your expertise will be invaluable in assessing classwork and providing clear feedback to students. You will also provide one-to-one and small group support to under-achieving GCSE Maths students, adapting your approach to meet their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support teaching staff in planning and delivering GCSE Maths lessons
  • Assess classwork and provide clear feedback to students
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to under-achieving GCSE Maths students
  • Participate in activities with the wider school community to create a positive learning environment
Requirements:
  • At least a bachelor's degree in maths or a related subject
  • Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts
  • A clear, confident communication style
  • Natural ability to build strong bonds with students
  • Dedication to the education of young people
  • Drive to improve grades and progression levels
  • Previous experience of working with students is beneficial but not mandatory
