We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our dynamic team at Great Ormond Street Hospital. As a Band 7 Pharmacist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the services provided by the Dispensary and Operational team, working closely with the Clinical Lead Operational Pharmacist.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Pharmacist who can effectively collaborate with team members, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and inspire others to achieve excellence in patient care.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to technical and support staff
  • Develop and implement clinical pharmacy services to improve patient outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Manage controlled drugs securely and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in on-call duties and provide 24/7 support to the team

Key Requirements:
  • Pharmacy Masters Degree or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Pharmacy
  • Membership of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society
  • Independent Prescriber qualification
  • Educational supervisor experience
