Job Title: Trainee Practitioner

We are seeking a motivated and self-driven individual to join our team as a Trainee Practitioner. As a Trainee Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work with our client group and support them on their journey to recovery.

About the Role

The Trainee Practitioner will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of events and Forward reunions, working with the communications team to research and write copy, and promoting the Forward Connect network and its interventions. The successful candidate will also assist with the design and editing of our client magazine, The Journey, and support the development of social media channels, website, and intranet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support with the organisation and smooth running of events and Forward reunions
  • Work with the communications team to research and write copy, new stories, and case studies
  • Promote the Forward Connect network and its interventions
  • Assist with the design and editing of our client magazine, The Journey
  • Support the development of social media channels, website, and intranet
  • Conduct research to support new projects and activities within Forward Connect
  • Develop links with relevant agencies, including residential rehabs, supported housing, and other local organisations offering volunteering opportunities
  • Facilitate Forward Connect meetings as required
  • Develop skills in the collection and recording of data for audit, research, and reporting purposes
  • Keep the database up to date and accurate, managed in accordance with Data Protection Principles and Law
Requirements

We are looking for a motivated and self-driven individual who is passionate about working with our client group and supporting them on their journey to recovery. The successful candidate will have an understanding of the needs of vulnerable adults in recovery and experience of previous offending or homelessness.
