Join Spicerhaart as a Real Estate Operations Manager, where you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of property management. This position offers a unique chance to engage in a variety of challenges that come with overseeing property management, ensuring exceptional service for both landlords and tenants.   • Competitive salary range of £18,000 to £27,500 annually, based on experience
  • Potential to earn up to £5,400 in capped commission (in addition to base salary)
  • Additional uncapped commission target of £2,725 (on top of base salary)
  • Expected minimum earnings of £26,125+ per year
  • Provision of a company vehicle
  • Standard working hours: 08:30-18:00 (weekdays) and 09:00-17:00 (one Saturday every four weeks, with a day off in lieu)
  • Fixed-term contract for 12 months (maternity cover)

Key Responsibilities of a Real Estate Operations Manager

  • Scheduling and conducting property inspections
  • Negotiating tenancy extensions and renewals
  • Coordinating with contractors to address maintenance and repair issues
  • Managing deposit returns
  • Addressing rental arrears
  • Processing eviction requests
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and tenants
  • Handling complaints effectively
  • Overseeing all check-in and check-out procedures, including detailed inventory reports

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Full UK Driving Licence for a manual vehicle
  • Previous experience in property management or relevant customer-facing/administrative roles
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficient IT skills

Important Information

To proceed in our recruitment process, candidates must possess:

  • A Full UK Driving Licence for a manual vehicle
  • Legal eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Documentation to verify right to work in the UK, such as a passport or birth certificate

Candidates may be required to participate in video interviews during the application process.

Company financial commitments to annual eye tests and glasses are subject to the terms outlined in the company Eye Test Policy.

Holiday entitlement includes 30 paid days per annum (pro-rata), which consists of 22 days plus 8 bank holidays, with a day off in lieu if an employee works on a bank holiday.
