About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Supervisor to join our team at Clancy. As a Supervisor, you will play a vital role in managing operational teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage operational teams to prioritize safety and efficiency in all activities.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure teams meet competency and compliance standards.
  • Drive a culture of excellence and continuous improvement to reduce customer complaints and improve service performance.
  • Proactively manage future works and programs to minimize disruptions and preventable mistakes.
  • Review and approve contractor method statements and risk assessments.
  • Conduct regular safety audits to identify hazards and implement necessary controls.
  • Manage vehicles and drivers to adhere to driving standards policies and the highway code.

Requirements

  • Exceptional people management and delivery skills, with excellent communication abilities and diplomacy.
  • Experience in a similar role in the utilities/water sector, ideally with a health and safety qualification such as IOSH.
  • Desirable qualifications include NRSWA, SMSTS/SSSTS, and CDM training.
  • Ability to balance client expectations with contractual requirements and business priorities.
