About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Worker to join our team at Forge Care. As a Residential Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our therapeutic community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized care and support to children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Support children and young people in their daily activities, including education, leisure, and personal care.
  • Contribute to a safe and nurturing environment, promoting a sense of belonging and community.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Shift and Schedule

Core hours for Residential Care Workers are 7am-10pm, with overnight sleep-ins required (average of 6 sleep-ins per month) and on-call payments made at an additional rate of £40 per day.
