Senior Director of Data Analytics

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director to lead our Data Analytics team in Population Studies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the development of our data science and AI capability, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data outputs, and growing our data science offering to clients.
Main Responsibilities- Lead the Data Quality and Analytics Team: Manage a team of data professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality data outputs and drive the development of our data science capability.
- Develop Data Science and AI Capability: Lead the development of our data science and AI capability, working closely with our applied AI partner, Faculty AI, to develop innovative ethical AI tools for use in the social research process.
- Grow Data Science Offering: Identify new data science project opportunities and contribute technical content to new business bids that require data management, data science, and AI specialist knowledge.
- Develop New Data Science Products: Lead the development of new data science products for clients, such as the Context Model.
- Advise Colleagues Globally: Advise colleagues globally on the use of data science and AI, and work closely with the UK Methods team (statisticians) to ensure the delivery of high-quality data outputs.
- Experience of Leading Data Teams: Proven experience of successfully leading data teams from data collection through to dissemination.
- Innovative Approach: An innovative approach to delivering efficiency in the production of data outputs, ideally in a statistical or social research context.
- Experience of Leading Data Science/AI Projects: Experience of leading data science/AI projects and teams.
- Ability to Lead Teams Through Change: The ability to lead teams through substantial change and deliver future-facing data infrastructure.
