We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our Endoscopy Unit at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, supervising a team of nurses, and contributing to the smooth operation of the unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized holistic patient care to patients attending the endoscopy unit, assisting with procedures and working as part of a large multidisciplinary team.
- Coordinate the unit on a regular basis, supervising own team, providing appraisal, teaching, and support.
- Undertake coordinator duties in the MEEDC endoscopy unit on a regular basis.
- Registered Nurse with at least 2 years' experience in endoscopy.
- Courses relevant to the specialty.
- At least 2 years' experience as a Band 5 in an endoscopy unit.
- Experience in managing endoscopy lists.
- Relevant previous ward experience.
