About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse to develop their skills and knowledge in surgical scrubbing, circulating, and recovery skills. You will work collaboratively with radiologists, radiographic staff, and anesthetists to provide care for complex patients across all imaging modalities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Interventional Radiology team to deliver high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care
- Collaborate with multi-professional teams to provide care for complex patients
- Develop skills and knowledge in surgical scrubbing, circulating, and recovery skills
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Experience of nursing care in an acute or critical care setting
- Comprehensive experience of IR & Imaging nursing
- Ability to organise department activities and use initiative
- Ability to solve problems and contribute new ideas
We offer a comprehensive orientation program, in-house training, foundation courses, coaching, and leadership training. You will also have the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in surgical scrubbing, circulating, and recovery skills.
