About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk to join our team at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Medical Records department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of patient health records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Retrieve, file, and archive patient records in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients to ensure seamless record management.
  • Manage and maintain patient health records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to data protection guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of processes to improve record management and patient care.
Requirements
  • GCSE Maths and English (grade C or above), or equivalent qualifications.
  • Awareness of confidentiality in accordance with Data Protection Act and national/local guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems.
