Role Responsibilities

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will assist a diverse range of clients with tailored .Net applications, ensuring exceptional customer service and prompt issue resolution.

This position demands strong communication abilities, a customer-focused mindset, and the capacity to manage the complete issue resolution process.

This dynamic role offers the right candidate the chance to collaborate with a talented team, contribute to a positive work environment, and engage closely with clients to optimize the use of our top-tier solutions.

Key Duties Include:

  • Taking ownership of technical support requests, ensuring resolution in line with agreed service level agreements (SLAs) while maintaining a quality-focused approach.
  • Executing software deployments to implement fixes across various environments.
  • Participating in regular stand-up meetings to prioritize daily tasks and provide updates on ongoing work.
  • Effectively collaborating and communicating with team members and both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Managing tasks efficiently and accurately tracking and reporting on work status, addressing any encountered issues.
  • Continuously reviewing and enhancing support processes and procedures with an emphasis on quality improvement.
  • Contributing to a positive team culture that promotes collaboration and productivity.
  • Completing necessary administrative tasks to ensure seamless service operations.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Ability to manage specific client support and change initiatives through to resolution.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and demonstrate initiative.
  • Proactive and self-sufficient.
  • Exceptional customer service capabilities.
  • Ability to identify potential commercial growth opportunities.
  • Proficient knowledge in:

- .NET Framework (C# and Visual Basic)

- ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC, and Web API

- Microsoft SQL Server / T-SQL

- Windows Server / IIS

- GIT

- Azure DevOps Pipelines (preferred)

- PowerShell (preferred)

  • Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS (preferred)
  • Willingness to travel to various Davies UK locations or client sites as necessary.
