Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Development Engineer at RHL, you will be a key player in driving product innovation and development. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading Testing and Development Activities: Oversee the development and testing of new product designs and components, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize your expertise in drive-train, hydraulics, and electrical systems to diagnose technical issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to find solutions.
  • Test Rig Design and Commissioning: Design and commission test rigs to ensure accurate and efficient testing of new products.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and effective communication.
  • Engineering Sign Off and Technical Documentation: Provide critical information for Engineering Sign Off records and Technical Construction Files, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant Qualifications: A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Industry Expertise: Proven experience in heavy vehicle design and development, with a strong understanding of drive-train, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data acquisition, processing, and vehicle testing, with strong Microsoft Office skills.
