About the Role

Tesco is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Duty Pharmacy Manager to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of pharmacists and supporting the Pharmacy Manager in delivering exceptional patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supply prescriptions and deliver a range of NHS and Private services to customers
  • Play an active role in our charities support program, providing advice and support to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes
  • Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading, training, and developing colleagues
  • Build relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries to improve patient care and services
  • Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items

Requirements

  • Pharmacy Degree
  • Passion for leading and empowering a team
  • Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willingness to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
  • DBS check (organised by Tesco)
