About the Role

As a Duty Pharmacy Manager at Tesco, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our customers and colleagues. You will be responsible for leading and developing a team of pharmacists, providing top-notch services to customers, and fostering a positive community spirit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supplying prescriptions and delivering a range of NHS and Private services to customers.
  • Playing an active role in our charities support program, providing advice and support to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
  • Supporting the Pharmacy Manager to lead, train, and develop colleagues.
  • Building relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Ensuring accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items.

Requirements

  • A Pharmacy Degree.
  • Membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willingness to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
  • Completion of a DBS check before employment.
