Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer - Drainage Expert

Job Summary:

Energi People is seeking a seasoned Senior Civil Engineer with extensive expertise in drainage design and management to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will spearhead drainage design endeavours, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure project deliverables align with client expectations and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drainage Design and Analysis: Lead the design and analysis of drainage systems across various civil engineering projects, including stormwater management, flood control, and drainage infrastructure.
  2. Hydrological and Hydraulic Modelling: Conduct hydrological and hydraulic modelling to assess drainage requirements and mitigate flood risks effectively.
  3. Engineering Plans and Specifications: Draft comprehensive engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for drainage systems.
  4. Client and Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to secure necessary approvals and permits.
  5. Collaboration and Project Delivery: Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is desirable.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil engineering with a specialised focus on drainage design and management.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in modelling such as Civils3D, Microstation and Microdrainage, or similar platforms.
  4. Knowledge and Understanding: Sound understanding of pertinent codes, standards, and regulations pertaining to drainage design (e.g., ASCE, EPA, local building codes).
  5. Project Management Skills: Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage resources efficiently.
