About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Policy Adviser to join our team at the Bank of England. As a Policy Adviser, you will play a key role in shaping the Bank's policy decisions and contributing to the development of effective regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on policy issues to senior stakeholders, including the Prudential Regulation Committee and Financial Policy Committee.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of complex policy issues, including data analysis and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and implement effective policy solutions, working closely with colleagues across the Bank.
  • Communicate policy recommendations and decisions to internal and external stakeholders, including through written reports and presentations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and address policy gaps and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in policy development and analysis, preferably in a regulatory or financial services context.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory policy and the Bank's objectives.
