Team Overview:
This position is part of the Global Markets Credit ("GMC") division within the Enterprise Credit organization. GMC is tasked with ensuring thorough and consistent credit evaluation for Global Markets trading and lending activities, covering a variety of products across diverse client segments.
Role Responsibilities:
Your primary focus will be on managing credit evaluations and ongoing assessments for a portfolio of trading and lending relationships with Private Equity Funds across EMEA and APAC. You will oversee products such as FX, Interest Rate hedging, and capital commitment facilities. This role involves close collaboration with global teams to maintain uniformity in underwriting and monitoring processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating new business proposals from the front line, providing initial feedback on structure, terms, and client selection.
- Collaborating with front line teams during due diligence, structuring terms, and recommending transactions for second line Risk assessment.
- Preparing credit approval documentation and securing necessary Risk approvals while engaging with relevant partners.
- Conducting ongoing assessments of transactions, including monitoring industry trends, client performance, and asset quality.
- Participating in the development of credit policies, risk rating frameworks, and responding to audit inquiries.
- Supporting Enterprise Credit initiatives and liaising with stakeholders on emerging issues and reporting requirements.
Candidate Profile:
We seek individuals with:
- Experience in credit risk management, underwriting, structuring, or related fields.
- Familiarity with Private Equity and non-regulated fund sectors in EMEA and APAC.
- Knowledge of traded products, including FX and interest rates, and experience with lending transactions.
- Understanding of derivative documentation and experience in developing related covenants.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bloomberg, with a quick adaptability to new tools.
