  • Develop and manage the business unit's budget
  • Ensure financial targets are met and drive initiatives to improve profitability

Requirements:

  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • Commercial and operational experience gained within a fast-paced, technical manufacturing and service business
  • Extensive contract management experience delivering for customers under strict SLA regimes
  • Extensive commercial experience in a B2B contract-driven environment
  • Proven ability to balance commercial opportunity with operational capability while maximising profitability
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, with a strong understanding of operations management principles and practices
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading, inspiring & motivating teams to achieve goals and objectives
  • Experience of driving efficiencies and developing the Lean agenda for an organisation, operational excellence, continuous improvement, kaizen etc
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • A high degree of reliability and integrity with an open mindset, to enable management of demands arising through organisational growth and embrace change and challenge
