Position Overview

Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking a proactive and innovative Supply Chain Manager to become a vital part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic sourcing and procurement, including identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with vendors.
  • Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and enhancement of our preferred supplier program.
  • Conducting comprehensive spend analysis to optimize procurement processes.
  • Facilitating onboarding through our procurement system and collaborating with various departments such as operations, quality, health, safety, and finance.
  • Promoting ethical and sustainable procurement practices, focusing on social value and supplier diversity.
  • Overseeing the management of the contract register and supplier directory.
  • Assisting in procurement tendering and mobilization efforts.
  • Drafting procurement and contractual documentation.
  • Monitoring and reporting on supplier performance metrics.
  • Maintaining and updating existing templates, workflows, and user profiles.
  • Revising process maps and activity guides as directed.
  • Collaborating closely with procurement and cross-functional teams.
  • Staying informed about industry best practices and regulations.
  • Building and maintaining a network of industry contacts for supplier insights.
  • Ensuring effective communication of Supply Chain Management best practices across the organization.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience in procurement, preferably within Facilities Management.
  • CIPS qualification or progress towards it.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of contract law.
