Network Solutions Engineer

The IT Network Field Engineer position at Focus Group offers the opportunity to work on complex network solutions for large customers. As part of the Enterprise Technical department, you will be responsible for implementing and delivering high-end network solutions, including SDWAN, LAN, WiFi, and Firewalls.
- Interface with management, colleagues, clients, and vendors to physically implement network solutions
- Work with senior network engineers on deployment, installation, and configuration
- Liaise with project management teams and service desk engineers regularly
- Audit and document client infrastructure
- Stage devices for client solutions
- Perform system and user acceptance testing
- Complete documentation in a timely manner
- Participate in out-of-hours support and on-call rotation
- Attain and maintain certifications to ensure compliance and competency
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network solutions to meet customer requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Provide technical expertise and support to clients and internal stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements:
- Positive and professional attitude with strong customer focus
- Highly organized and approachable
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Competent understanding of engineering processes
- Great product knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Commercially aware with a proven track record in Engineering
- Cisco Meraki CMNA certification
- Cisco Routing and Switching to CCNA or CCNP level
- Other technology specializations
- Valid clean Driving License
