Job Title - IT Network Field Engineer

We're currently recruiting for an IT Network Field Engineer to join our Enterprise Technical team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering complex and bespoke technical solutions for our large customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement network solutions to meet project requirements, working closely with management, colleagues, clients, and vendors.
  • Collaborate with senior network engineers on the deployment, installation, and configuration of complex network solutions.
  • Liaise with project management teams, third-line engineers, and service desk engineers on a regular basis.
  • Audit and document client infrastructure.
  • Stage devices for client solutions and perform system and user acceptance testing.
  • Complete documentation paperwork in a timely fashion.
  • Provide out-of-hours support as part of the field team and participate in the on-call rota.
  • Attain and maintain personal certification levels to ensure compliance with partnership programs and demonstrate competency to clients.

  • Competent understanding of engineering processes and procedures.
  • Great product knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Commercially aware.
  • Personal pride.
  • Proven track record in Engineering.
  • Cisco Meraki CMNA (demonstrable).
  • Cisco Routing and Switching to CCNA (or CCNP) (demonstrable).
  • Other technology specialisations.
  • Full clean Driving License.

This role is predominately field-based, with occasional office visits and working from home. The role includes opportunities for significant overtime and on-call.
