About the Role:

Aspect Healthcare is seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a Paramedic Functional Assessor, you will play a crucial role in conducting holistic assessments with individuals who have a range of physical and/or mental health conditions. Your primary responsibility will be to gather information and provide comprehensive reports to support the decision-making process by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct full, holistic assessments with individuals who have a varied range of health conditions
  • Interpret medical evidence and gather findings into a comprehensive report
  • Work autonomously and use your clinical experience to make informed decisions
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality care

Requirements:

  • NMC or HCPC registration is required
  • At least 1 year's broad post-registration experience in the UK
  • Proactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedback
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and have strong IT competency
