We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team as a Disability Assessor, working in a hybrid role that combines clinical expertise with administrative tasks. As a Paramedic Disability Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of individuals with various physical and mental health conditions, with the goal of determining their eligibility for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit scheme.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals with diverse health conditions, gathering information on how their disabilities impact their daily lives.
- Interpret medical evidence and compile detailed reports to support the decision-making process of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
- Work autonomously, using your clinical experience and skills to make informed decisions.
- NMC or HCPC registration is mandatory.
- At least 1 year of post-registration experience in the UK is required.
- Proactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedback.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and possess strong IT skills.
- A competitive salary of £37,800 per annum.
- A comprehensive training program, including 100 hours of CPD points within the first 3 months.
