Join Our Team as a Paramedic Functional Assessor

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a Paramedic Functional Assessor, you will play a vital role in assessing individuals with physical and/or mental health conditions and determining their eligibility for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit scheme.

About the Role

As a Paramedic Functional Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting thorough, holistic assessments with individuals who have a diverse range of health conditions. You will use your clinical expertise to gather information, interpret medical evidence, and compile comprehensive reports to support the decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments with individuals who have physical and/or mental health conditions
  • Use your clinical expertise to gather information and interpret medical evidence
  • Compile comprehensive reports to support the decision-making process
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality assessments
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NMC or HCPC registration
  • At least 1 year's broad post-registration experience
  • UK experience is essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
