About the Role

The Church of England is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead the Women on the Front Line programme. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in promoting reconciliation and empowering women in conflict-affected areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan to achieve the programme's objectives, including managing relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and funding bodies.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination with the programme's working group, Anglican Communion partnerships, and other key stakeholders.
  • Manage the programme's budget, finances, and administrative tasks, including preparing funding applications and reports.
  • Coordinate international retreats, including visa applications, travel arrangements, and accommodation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with volunteer committee leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Produce regular reports and updates for senior managers, trusts, and funding bodies.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a similar field.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, financial management, and administrative tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £15,000 per annum, plus age-related pension contributions.
  • 25 days annual leave, increasing to 30 days within 5 years, plus three additional days.
  • Flexible working hours and location, with an expectation of just 1-2 days per week in our office in Westminster.
