POSITION OVERVIEW
This role involves the integration of advanced technical products into niche markets, enhancing the sales of specialized lubricants and solutions. The focus is on delivering improved efficiency, reliability, and fostering strong customer relationships through effective technical support. The management of these products from initial design through to delivery requires a blend of interdisciplinary skills, engineering knowledge, and practical experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a client-facing technical position that demands exceptional engineering and product support capabilities. Regular collaboration with the commercial sales team is essential to maintain the company's competitive edge. The organization prides itself on offering top-tier product technology and reliability-centered maintenance, incorporating best practice principles. The goal is to enhance customer product quality by optimizing overall asset reliability through the latest value-added services and product innovations.
The successful candidate will join the Central Technical Department, which includes mechanical engineers, chemists, and application specialists. This role will require close cooperation with the Industrial team, which encompasses Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Research & Development.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Qualified Mechanical Engineer / Industrial Chemist / Applications Engineer (or equivalent experience) with a solid foundation in industry knowledge.
- Demonstrated experience in one or more sectors such as metalworking, oil and gas, sustainable energy, mineral extraction and processing, paper manufacturing, and food/beverage.
- Experience in a customer-facing engineering role is advantageous.
