Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Floor Manager to join our team at River Island, Retail. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Ensure the store is visually appealing and well-organized, with a focus on maintaining high standards of visual merchandising.
  • Monitor and control stock levels, including receiving and processing stock deliveries.
  • Manage the store's cash handling and banking procedures, including counting and reconciling tills.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety, security, and customer service standards.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Floor Manager or in a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including visual merchandising, stock control, and cash handling.
