Job Title: Legal Cashier

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Cashier to join our team at Hays Accounts and Finance. As a Legal Cashier, you will be responsible for managing the office account and providing cover for the Cashiering Manager and Senior Cashier in their absence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily office account bank reconciliations and client account bank reconciliations when the Cashier Supervisor is absent.
  • Review the office and client accounts online and make relevant postings into 3E.
  • Process all anticipated disbursement invoices and, if necessary, purchase currency from Convera.
  • Reconcile the firm's IPO, WIPO, and OHIM accounts.
  • Reconcile the firm's credit card account.
  • Process CHAPS payments when required.
  • Ensure compliance with the SRA Rules and liaise with other cashiering staff as needed.
  • Report breaches and potential breaches to the Cashier Manager in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Experience with 3E and Chromeriver systems is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
