Early Years Practitioner

We are seeking a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our dynamic and fast-paced nursery team at Stainsby Nursery, part of Middlesbrough Council's Children's Services. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children aged from birth to 5 years, providing a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for them to learn and develop.
As a key worker, you will be responsible for updating the online digital platform for parents to access and ensuring children are working towards their age-appropriate milestones. You will also be part of a large team working in a multi-disciplinary field, liaising with parents, carers, and professionals such as Health Visitors, speech and language therapists, and social workers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop.
- Update the online digital platform for parents to access and track children's progress.
- Work with children aged from birth to 5 years, providing individualized care and support.
- Liaise with parents, carers, and professionals to ensure children's needs are met.
- Participate in continuous professional development, including training and team meetings.
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a professional qualification minimum Level 3 in Childcare and have effective verbal and written communication skills. You will also need to be self-motivated, able to work under pressure, and be a real team player.
