Position Overview

Permanent Full-Time Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 qualified childcare professional to become a vital part of our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional care and educational experiences, ensuring that every child receives the highest quality of attention and learning opportunities. We offer a competitive salary above industry standards, along with salary increments and up to 35 days of annual leave, inclusive of public holidays.

Your responsibilities will include creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, prioritizing their health and well-being. You will also play an active role in monitoring and documenting children's progress, collaborating with other professionals both within and outside our organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Adhere to OFSTED Standards & Regulations

- Ensure compliance with child protection protocols

- Assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Room Leader

- Lead efforts in providing high-quality educational care

- Follow nursery and Trust policies and procedures diligently

- Maintain the safety and health of children, conducting risk assessments as necessary

Qualifications

Essential

  • NNEB / BTEC / NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Care and Education or equivalent

Desirable

  • Current 12-hour Pediatric First Aid certification

  • Familiarity with the Childcare Act 2009
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
