About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Supply Nursery Assistant to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
Main Responsibilities
As a Supply Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and develop
- Supporting the daily routines of the nursery, including meal times, sleep times, and activities
- Assisting with the planning and implementation of educational programs
- Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Contributing to the maintenance of a clean and organized nursery environment
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant qualification in Early Years Care and Education, such as NNEB, BTEC, or NVQ 3
- Experience working with children in a childcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to providing high-quality care and education
