Nursery Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Supply Nursery Assistant to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years in our nursery setting.
Main Responsibilities
- To adhere to OFSTED Standards and Regulations.
- To ensure compliance with child protection procedures.
- To maintain the health and safety of children in our care, carrying out risk assessments when required.
- To take the lead in challenging and providing quality care and education.
Requirements
- NNEB /BTEC/NVQ 3 in Early Years Care and Education or equivalent.
- 12 hour paediatric first aid course.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Demonstrable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities and processes.
