Job Overview
South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Assistant to join our team at Playdays Day Nursery. As a key member of our early years care and education team, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
Main Responsibilities
- Adhere to OFSTED Standards and Regulations, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained.
- Ensure compliance with child protection procedures, prioritizing the safety and wellbeing of children in our care.
- Maintain the health and safety of children, conducting risk assessments as required.
- Take the lead in challenging and providing quality care and education, promoting the development and growth of children.
Requirements
- NNEB /BTEC/NVQ 3 in Early Years Care and Education or equivalent.
- GCSE English grade C or equivalent in English.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and safeguarding responsibilities and processes.
