We are seeking a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our dynamic and fast-paced nursery team at Stainsby Nursery, part of Middlesbrough Council's Children's Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for children aged from birth to 5 years to learn, develop, and play.
- Work as a key worker for several children, updating the online digital platform for parents to access and ensure children are working towards their age-appropriate milestones.
- Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and promotes equality of opportunity, reflects diversity, and supports anti-discriminatory practice.
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and professionals, such as Health Visitors, speech and language therapists, and social workers.
- Participate in continuous professional development, including training and team meetings, to stay up-to-date with new initiatives, legislation, and policies.
Requirements:
- Hold a professional qualification minimum Level 3 in Childcare.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide a high level of customer service.
