We are excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled and driven HR Advisor to contribute to our team at Nano Fibre UK.

As a result of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a dedicated professional to support the Head of HR in executing daily HR operations and key initiatives.

This position will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities, allowing you to assist the HR team in various functions while concentrating on the following:

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing clear and expert guidance in accordance with our HR policies and practices.
  • Overseeing a variety of cases, including performance management, absence management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Acting as the primary advisor for case management while supporting the Head of HR.
  • Developing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and align with company objectives.
  • Empowering line managers to enhance their confidence and skills in addressing personnel-related challenges.
  • Collaborating with the training department to identify training needs, create development plans, and assess their effectiveness.
  • Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of HR programs such as talent management, succession planning, employee retention, and compensation strategies.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful applicant will possess substantial experience within a generalist HR environment and will demonstrate:

  • Proven ability to coach line managers on employment and performance issues in a dynamic business setting.
  • Strong understanding of UK Employment Law, with hands-on experience managing complex cases.
  • Capability to handle multiple intricate issues and prioritize various projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in guiding first-line managers through assessment and resolution processes.
  • A minimum of CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification.
  • Significant experience in supporting and coaching line managers through employment cases.
  • Experience in developing employment-related policies and procedures.
  • Some exposure to entry-level business partnering with first-line managers.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and its application in a business context.
  • Strong financial acumen and proficiency in Excel with a focus on data analytics.
